PCDS stands for "Process Chemistry Delivery System".

To continuously supply process chemicals to the connected WDs (washing and disinfection equipment) without interruption.

The aim is to increase the efficiency of the instrument reprocessing cycle by simplifying and thus improving the logistics i.e. the automatic supply of process chemicals. This saves time thereby reducing overall costs.

• If there are three or more WDs installed in each CSSD, floor or department.

• If these WDs are situated at different locations within the hospital.

• If the installed WDs are operated with 2 - 4 different process chemicals.

• If the usable area within the CSSD is limited.

• A single 220 litre centralized source of cleaning chemistry removes the laborious and time consuming practice of constantly changing smaller canisters/bottles in individual WDs. 

• Buying large 220 litre containers can sometimes be better value than buying smaller 25 litre containers.

• Thanks to the automatic and continuous supply of process chemicals, you won't ever have to interrupt a washing cycle again to change the empty container. This increases the number of cycles and thus the efficiency of the reprocessing cycle.

Thanks to the lifting mechanism the staff don't have to touch the suction lances that are in contact with the process chemicals.

The PCDS Premium is a low-maintenance system which means there is no need for regular and costly maintenance work.
